Tory tradition dictates that when the main issue of the day has been debated to exhaustion then another issue close to the hearts of members will be brought up, such as the archaic notion of fox-hunting. Jeremy Hunt has now promised a Parliamentary vote on the problem, with many members wanting a return to the good of days of hanging and the random murder of innocent animals. On the other side, Boris Johnson has said that he will put 20,000 more police on the streets over the next three years if he is elected. This all comes as Tories are sent their ballots to elect the new leader.
