The Liberal Democrats and the Brexit Party enjoyed a sumptuous night as the results of the European elections came in. Nigel Farage’s band of loonies won the night, with 28 MEPs elected so far. The Lib Dems had a huge growth in their vote share, with 15 MEPs.
