Theresa May is have another face-off with her own senior MPs as the party attempts to persuade her to set our a departure date. It comes after the Brexit Secretary Stephen Barclay said yesterday that if the Withdrawal Agreement is defeated at the third time of asking then it will be “dead”. Formal party rules mean that there cannot be another no-confidence vote until December, and May is still stuck upon delivering Brexit at any cost.
