Wes Streeting has said that Jeremy Corbyn must resign as Labour leader before the next election, in feisty meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party. In the same meeting, Corbyn also faced a barrage of calls to halt the Brexit talks with the government, as finding a solution is obviously not a solution that the narcissistic Westminster clique would like to see. Streeting’s anger does show that there is a feeling in the party that Corbyn could be replaced before the next election, with someone more dangerous like John McDonnell or Rebecca Long-Bailey coming in his place.
