May’s final plea for extension

Theresa May leaves after a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss Brexit on Tuesday at the Elysee Palace in Paris,

Theresa May is making a last plea to the EU for an extension of Brexit until June 30, as the bloc of 27 make their decision tonight at the emergency meeting in Brussels. The EU is expected to give a longer delay, or at least one that comes with conditions.

She has previously said she will not go on as PM if they give her a longer extension, Gerry points out…
