MPs take control of Brexit votes

The House of Commons voted late last night to take control of the Brexit process by initiating the Sir Oliver Letwin amendment, which calls for indicative votes to determine a solution. Despite this, Theresa May has once again shown that democracy only works when she is the winner, and said that she probably won’t actually do what they say. Three junior ministers resigned to vote for the amendment, Richard Harrington, Alistair Burt and Steve Brine, saying that the government was ‘playing roulette’ with the livelihoods of the British people.

Good move from this vote, Gerry says. Now MPs might actually have to vote FOR something at last…
