Having now seen the changes to the backstop issue by Theresa May last night, Tory MPs will be fretting over whether to vote for the Prime Minister’s shiny new legal updates along with the rest of the Withdrawal Agreement. Much of the focus in Westminster at the moment is upon the DUP, who still have not yet affirmed which view they will take. Despite last night’s moves, it is still unlikely that May will be able to persuade enough MPs to win a majority, kill of the remain cause and then hopefully resign.
