Papers respond favourably to the Budget

The Times claimed that it was a ‘giveaway gamble’, while the Telegraph said that the announcement was a ‘Brexit bonus’ for taxpayers. The Sun said that there were ‘no tricks, just treats’ as Halloween looms. The paper with the widest circulation, the Metro, said that there is a mix of both in the red book.
