Controversial historian David Starkey has said that he thinks its ‘a bit obvious’ that the murderer King Henry the Eighth would do better getting a Brexit deal through Parliament than Theresa May would. Speaking on Politics Live, the ‘rudest man in Britain’ praised the man who split from Rome as ‘capable of forming policy and able to deal with the Europeans.’

Er, right, Gerry is rather perplexed…
