PMQs review: Bercow stays calm in face of resignation calls

The Speaker John Bercow endured a torrid half hour today lunchtime as his was further urged to resign, despite denied leaked letters showing he will do so next summer. Teresa Pearce hammered home another case of harassment in Parliament, after allegations of bullying against the Speaker have been brought back into focus.

The bickering between Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn continued, as the latter pressed the PM on the realistic future of her Chequers proposal, while executing a joke about whether pizza was involved, after Brexit rebel Andrea Leadsom hosted a group of Cabinet members to her office her office for Domino’s and plotting.
