A report by Dame Laura Cox has claimed that bullying in the Houses of Parliament is ‘tolerated and concealed’, in a scathing polemic of the Westminster village. Dame Cox said that this acted as reminder of ‘how bad things used to be.’ All of this comes after Isabel Hardman, the assistant editor of the Spectator, released a book, citing the daily stresses, inefficient procedures and unfriendly atmosphere of the mother of Parliaments as a cause of depression and relationship breakdown and bullying and harassment.
