Brexit negotiations are expected to stagnate this week over the issue of a potential Northern Irish hard border. After Dominic Raab flew over to Brussels and told Michel Barnier that they could not accept the current EU proposal, the one issue that has previously halted progress has come back again to haunt Theresa May. With strong words coming out from the DUP, on whom she relies on for her majority, and hard-hitting rhetoric from the Brexiteers, a decision will need to be made soon if a deal is to be reached before Christmas.
