The Labour Party has finally got a better score in a new poll, although just one point above the Tories. A new piece of research from BMG has given the slim lead to Jeremy Corbyn in the week following the Conservative conference in Birmingham. Although both conferences were mainly without disaster, the Labour event failed to push them up the polls, and the Tory party has obviously not struck a chord either. This will come as better news for Corbyn of course, who was expected to be miles ahead, but had been stagnating in popularity. Labour go up to +39, the Conservatives stay the same at +38.
